1. Information We Collect
Account details. Your name, email address and phone number, plus anything you add to your profile such as your preferred position or a club badge.
Games and bookings. The games you create or join, the pitches you book, the clubs and tournaments you take part in, your friends, and messages you send in match chats.
Payments. When you pay through Sadid we record the amount, what it was for, and a masked reference to the card used. Your full card number is entered on our payment provider's page and is never stored by Sadid.
Match stats and progress. Matches you've played, your weekly streak, level, achievements and milestones, the compliments you give and receive from teammates, and whether an organiser marked you as a no-show. If a player keeps score on an Apple Watch or Wear OS watch, the goals, saves, fouls and cards they record are stored against the players involved.
App usage. Which screens you open and which buttons you tap in the Sadid apps and venue portal, with the time, the app version, your device's operating system version and a random identifier created when the app is installed. We use it to understand which features are used and to fix problems. It never includes what you type, your contacts, or your location.
Notifications. If you allow notifications, a device token so we can send you game updates.
2. How We Use Your Data
Your data is used to match you with games and venues, process bookings and payments, keep score and build your match history, send you notifications you've turned on, and improve the app. We may turn features on for some users before others while we test them. We do not use your data for advertising and we do not track you across other companies' apps or websites.
3. What Other Players Can See
Other Sadid users can see your name and profile, your level, achievements, streak and compliment totals, your reliability score, and the match stats recorded in games you played. Players in the same game see who else is playing. Compliments are shown as totals — a player can't see which teammate gave which one — and a private "something was off" report is never shown to anyone outside Sadid. If you share your profile card, it contains only what's on the card.
4. Data Sharing
We do not sell your personal data. We share:
- limited booking information with venue operators and tournament organisers, to fulfil your reservations and registrations;
- the details needed to take payment — your name, email address and phone number — with SkipCash, our payment provider;
- notification content with Apple and Google, which deliver notifications to your device.
Our database and servers are run by hosting providers that process data only on our instructions. We do not use third-party analytics or advertising tools; app usage data is stored in Sadid's own systems.
5. Data Retention
Your data is retained for as long as your account is active. Upon account deletion, personal data is removed within 30 days. App usage records are kept for 13 months and then deleted automatically; when you delete your account they are unlinked from it straight away.
6. Your Rights
You may request a copy of your data, correct inaccuracies, or delete your account at any time through Settings. See account deletion for the full process. You can also ask us to delete the app usage records linked to your account by emailing the address below.
